Full course description

This training is designed to provide DFCS workers with the knowledge necessary to meet various judicial standards in their testimonies as it is used to protect and serve children. This course teaches workers skills in being a credible, well-prepared witness. It covers topics such as behavior in court, direct examination flow cross-examination techniques, rules of evidence, and preparation necessary for each type of hearing child welfare workers will experience in their careers.

As this training enhances the workers' skills when testifying in court, mastery of the skills to be a competence witness can be only achieved through constant application in the court environments.
