Full course description
This course will help participants gain the knowledge and skills needed to support grandparents who are raising their grandchildren in parent-absent homes. The goal is to improve the health and well-being of these families by understanding their unique challenges, building trust, and offering a higher level of service and empathy. With this deeper understanding, participants can help increase positive outcomes for the families they serve.
CEU Note: Navigating Complex Roles: Supporting Grandparents Raising Grandchildren is approved for 4 hours of continuous education for MSW (core), LPC and LMFT (related), FVIP, Babies Can’t Wait Project SCEIs in Area I | Children and Families – Birth to 8 CEUs.
